when you tell your wife before you go in the store that you don't really want to spend more than 650 on a refrigerator and you wind up writing a check for 790, try not to get too mad at her.

part of that was this 3 year service agreement for $120. however, had i remembered a little something called "implied warranty" i would have never spent that money. the warranty is good for a year and is state law. it basically says "this fridge is not a piece of crap and will be good for at least one year." talked to my pops and he said a warranty for 60 bucks a year on a brand new appliance is a ripoff. i tend to agree since i'm such a cheapass. so the fridge, minus the $45 rebate i'll be getting, actually cost me 625. not too shabby!

and tomorrow i might be getting my new vacuum. haven't decided yet since i don't really have anywhere to put it now, and since it'll be coming from a best buy gift card we got for the wedding i can't use it until we get to the new house.
